News flash: summer is half over. Ready to go back to school? Yeah, us either.

But whether you’re exploring entrepreneurship, bootstrapping your first startup, running an established business, or just a student in the school of life (aren’t we all?), learning should always be at the top of your to do list.

All summer long, we’ve been compiling our fall and winter learning schedule to create compelling, hands-on workshops that feed your need to learn and grow in your business.

Based on feedback from Innovation Guelph clients, past workshop participants, and the larger business community, we’ve planned upcoming seminars on Customer Acquisition, Governance, Crowdfunding, and PR Fundamentals. We’re still finalizing the details, but you can be the first to learn about these sessions by subscribing to our newsletter.

MaRS Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops return September 18

We’re also excited to announce the return of MaRS Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops this September!

Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops are experiential, hands-on workshops facilitated by experienced entrepreneurs. The workshops offer businesses tools, mentoring and peer feedback to solve specific problems and develop essential business components.

For the first time, Innovation Guelph will host the entire six-part series in succession.

Each workshop takes place over two four-hour sessions, during which you’ll generate a deliverable that you will use frequently in the business development process.

School will be back in session on September 18 with the first workshop in the series, Starting Lean: Value Proposition.

Here’s the complete course list:

MaRS Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops are $100 per course, and are open to everyone. If you’re an Innovation Guelph client, you’ll be reimbursed the registration fee at the end of the workshop.

So quit lamenting summer’s end and start making plans to grow your business knowledge this fall. We can’t wait to see you in our space!
