GUELPH, July 12, 2017 – Innovation Guelph (IG) today announced the appointment of Quintin Fox and Philip Wheeler to its board of directors, effective June 21, 2017.

“I am so pleased to welcome Quintin and Phil to Innovation Guelph’s board. They each bring incredible experience and expertise that will help to shape IG’s existing programs and services, as well as future initiatives,” said Suzanne Bone, Chair, Innovation Guelph Board of Directors.

Quintin Fox (left) is the Director of Training Development and Capacity Resourcing at Gay Lea Foods Co-operative where he was responsible for the development and delivery of the award-winning Leadership in Governance director and delegate training program. A Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) and graduate of York University`s prestigious Masters Certificate in Adult Training and Development (MCATD) program, he is now on faculty for the program. Quintin brings 20 years’ experience with membership-based organizations, serving in pivotal roles with a focus on education and training, research and governance.

Phil Wheeler


Phil Wheeler (right) is a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager with Meridian Credit Union. Upon graduating from DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University he joined Meridian in the retail branch as a financial advisor, prior to transitioning to commercial lending. Phil brings experience in financial analytics, and review and execution of business, marketing and sales plans. An active volunteer, Phil is involved with various not-for profits, notably as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph.


In the coming months, Fox and Wheeler will assist Innovation Guelph with executing its strategic plan for the continued growth and success of the organization.
