We’re thrilled to host celebrated Canadian fashion designer and inspirational speaker Linda Lundström as our lunch keynote speaker at Ignite. Empower. Innovate. 2016.

Linda founded her eponymous brand in 1974 and has more than 34 years experience in the fashion industry, designing and building the Linda Lundström brand and a state-of- the-art Canadian lean manufacturing facility. She is recognized leader and influencer in the fashion, business, and manufacturing industries, and educational institutes.

A recipient of numerous awards, Linda has received three honourary PhDs, was named to the Order of Ontario in 1995, and received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013. She is recognized as a champion of First Nations awareness and ethical manufacturing practices — and proudly uses the label ‘Made in Canada’.

Linda is a gifted storyteller and will generously share her experience of great success and great failure with humour and mischievousness. We know we’ll walk away inspired to move forward in our careers, to embrace the ‘f’ word (failure), and to have faith in ourselves and our businesses.

What part of the event are you most excited about?

“I love gatherings with women who are curious, who are open to learn and generous to share. I am inspired by them and know that I will meet at least one person who was sent there for me to meet by Divine Appointment. That’s exciting!”
