Children’s art, cold-pressed juice, virtual business administration – what do these businesses have in common? They are all run by talented, local female entrepreneurs who have made it to the final stages of our Rhyze Award competition!
You may remember this past March when we launched our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for The Ignite Award. Renamed The Rhyze Award, this is an opportunity for female entrepreneurs with businesses based in Guelph and Wellington County to get the financial and mentoring boost their company needs.
On March 9th we began crowdfunding for the cash portion of the award, and also opened the application period. After a long and rigorous process, a panel of impartial judges selected the top nine finalists. Over the next six weeks, these finalists will receive coaching to prepare their pitches – because on September 21st, we are hosting the final phase and award ceremony for The Rhyze Award!
